Ok, I admit I love crabs LOL. I think Blue Swimmers are cheaper but less sweet and meatier compared to Mud crabs or Dungeness crabs. Nowadays, I will buy some Blue Swimmers or Mud crabs, steam them and remove the meat myself. It's tedious but I'm assured of the quality is there and I don't get more water/ice than meat! That's what unscrupulous traders done in certain regions. Nothing beats the tastier fresh crab meat and the hard work worth it :-Dpixenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08189015058658260987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7517116209276101080.post-768516345161357652009-06-10T14:08:31.957-07:002009-06-10T14:08:31.957-07:00I started thinking about how much I love crabcakes...I started thinking about how much I love crabcakes while I was eating this last night...I just wish crabmeat wasn't so expensive! argh!Karenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03342562895850126585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7517116209276101080.post-75736002279039053582009-06-10T13:41:48.350-07:002009-06-10T13:41:48.350-07:00Sometimes I love salmon, sometimes I hate it, but ...Sometimes I love salmon, sometimes I hate it, but this sort of looks good - in a crabcake way kind of good.

But, I think I might try this with crabmeat.
